Bacon and Fig catered our wedding reception and everything was amazing! From the start the customer service was exceptional. Charlie helped us throughout the planning process and was always responsive and thoughtful. We never had any concerns and felt at ease that all would go well for our big day. Something that was a delightful surprise was how many vegetarian entree options Bacon and Fig had to choose from. You won’t find this variety of options with any other vendor because we looked everywhere for this need and were about to give up before we found Bacon and Fig. They were very responsive to catering to special dietary needs which meant that all of our vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free guests were able to enjoy their meals without worry since all options were labeled accordingly. We had so many guests rave to us about the food throughout the weekend. It gave us such a good feeling to know our guests were happy and well-fed. They even packed us individual to-go containers based on our preferences. Quite simply, they are the best and offer a worry-free experience!
I have to give the biggest thank-you to Bacon and Fig Events for the most unbelievable food and bar service at our wedding! Every single bite was perfection — our guests are still talking about it. From the appetizers to the entrees to the late-night snacks, everything was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and perfectly timed. The bar team was just as amazing — friendly, fast, and fun! They kept everyone’s drinks full and spirits high all night long, and they made sure every guest felt taken care of. We did Bacon and Fig for our wedding and they went above and beyond to set up the food and keep it warm. All the food was delicious!! Everyone was raving about it. We got the boudin stuff pork loin, catfish, Mac, and grilled veggies. All of that was delicious! Definitely will consider them when we need catering for an event.
It is stressful to plan a wedding from across the country. But we knew before the tasting that we were going with Bacon & Fig. Their communication was top notch and Angel worked with us to change our “classic Louisiana with a few easier sides for wimpy out-of-towners” menu 140 times. And the tasting. Yall. If you’re in Baton Rouge, go eat at BRQ. SO GOOD. We almost couldn’t narrow the dishes down. And their bartender made the table a round of our specialty cocktails. When the toddler at the table was being a toddler, Angel had a chef whip up a chocolate chip cookie just for her. We ended up using Bacon & Fig for not just the dinner, but the grazing table, and brunch the following morning. Everyone raved about the food and everyone raved about the bar and wait staff. They were so attentive, so quick, and fit the vibe perfectly - which couldn’t have been easy to do during an almost 9 hour reception. TLDR: The food is excellent and the customer service is unmatched.
This was our second year using Bacon and Fig Events for our annual Volunteer Gala, and we were just as impressed as the first year! Their staff is incredibly detailed, professional, and easy to work with. The food was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. In fact it was so much so that many attendees asked who we used. If you’re looking for a true five star experience for your next event, I highly recommend adding Bacon and Fig Events to your list.
Bacon & Fig catered two events for me and really came through for my team when we needed them. Our menu had specific restrictions and Bacon & FIg were not only accommodating but went above and beyond to ensure our guests were taken care of. The food was spectacular, the presentation was outstanding, and the customer service we received was top notch. Great company run by great people.
I just wanted to share my experience, not with hiring this company, but working as a decorator alongside them at a venue in Pontchatoula on 3/7/26. They were professional, super friendly, dedicated to the timeline and rolled everything out perfectly! Not only the selection of food the bride chose was perfect, but they easily adapted to the timeline changes and helped keep the event running smoothly. Michelle and her crew (the ladies and gentleman serving and cleaning, the bartender, of course the cooks! I can’t remember names, my apologies) were some of the best I’ve worked with in a while! At the end of the evening, we had the opportunity to watch the event wrap up and they were all a pleasure to be around! I will absolutely and look forward to recommending to my future clients when working in that area. Great job ladies and gents, it was a pleasure working with you all!
The team at bacon and figs did such a phenomenal job for our wedding! I remember how welcoming and professional the staff was before our first tasting;multiple staff members and I believe even the owner made the effort to come and introduce themselves to us. During the tasting, they took the time to describe each dish and how it was prepared. They also addressed my concern of the transport process since we had our event in New Orleans. Angel and her mom were so great to work with! It took me a while to figure out what all we were wanting for the event, mostly because I’m super indecisive,but mainly because they had such great choices! But angel was always responsive to emails and very patient and willing to discuss different ideas until we created the perfect menu! The food the day of was SO GOOD! The entire staff was super attentive and very friendly. They were even able to accommodate a last minute request a for a charcuterie table and it was such a hit the night of the event! Overall, great experience and we definitely recommend.
